THE ZION
LEGACY FUND
How Zion Designs supports families in the final moments of dignity.
The Zion Legacy Fund:
Legacy Sessions for Every Family
Not every family facing goodbye has the financial resources to preserve these final memories—but every companion deserves to be honored, and every loving family deserves to have something to hold onto.
The Zion Fund makes Legacy Portrait Sessions accessible to families experiencing financial hardship during an already difficult time. Through the generosity of our community, we're able to offer subsidized or complimentary memorial sessions to those who need them most.
How It Works:
Donate any amount to help cover sessions for families in need
100% of contributions go directly toward Legacy Portrait Sessions
Recipients are selected with dignity and discretion
Every donation helps preserve precious final memories

We understand this is a vulnerable time. Please reach out confidentially—no family should have to choose between financial strain and meaningful memories.
Why give?
-
For love
Because you remember your own senior companion—the one who taught you about unconditional love, who slowed down too soon, who deserved every beautiful moment preserved. Give in their honor.
-
For memory
Because financial hardship doesn't diminish love. Families caring for aging pets often face impossible choices between veterinary care and everything else. You can remove one burden from their shoulders.
-
For grace
Because these photographs become irreplaceable. When a family is already grieving, having something tangible to hold onto—proof that their companion was here, was loved, mattered—is a gift beyond measure.
-
For dignity
Because every gray muzzle tells a story worth preserving. Senior pets carry quiet dignity that deserves to be honored, regardless of their family's financial circumstances.
-
For them
Because you have the resources to help, and somewhere a family is counting days with their beloved companion, wishing they could afford to freeze time. Your generosity becomes their comfort.
-
For honor
Because no one should face goodbye empty-handed. Memorial photographs aren't luxury—they're legacy. They're how we remember. They're what we'll treasure when remembering is all we have left.
The Zion Fund exists because of the generous hearts below. Each contribution helps preserve precious memories for families facing goodbye—ensuring that love, not financial resources, determines who gets to honor their companion's final grace.
Thank you for making remembrance possible.
With heartfelt gratitude, Aspen & Zion

General FAQs
Why is it called the Zion Legacy Fund?
The fund is named after my own senior dog, Zion, who's teaching me daily about the grace and dignity of aging. His journey inspired this mission to ensure every family—regardless of financial resources—can preserve their companion's final chapter.
How is this different from regular pet portraiture?
Legacy Sessions are specifically designed for senior pets and families facing end-of-life circumstances. We work at your pet's pace with extra sensitivity to physical limitations, emotional weight, and time constraints. The Zion Fund makes these specialized sessions accessible regardless of ability to pay.
Can family members be included in the photos?
Absolutely. These sessions often include family members—the way you hold your companion, the way they still lean into you, the visible bond you share. Whatever feels right for your family is what we'll capture.
How can I help beyond donating money?
Share the Zion Fund with your network—veterinarians, pet communities, rescue organizations, anyone who might know families in need. Awareness is powerful, and sometimes just knowing this resource exists gives families permission to ask for help.
